Create a New Entry

LDAP Admin tool provides many wizards to create new entries into directory, depending on your requirements you can choose one of the following wizards:

Type of Entry	Object Classes	Description
New User	top person organizationalPerson inetOrgPerson	Creates a simple user object, this option will automatically select the correct object Classes for the user object from schema
New Group	groupOfUniqueNames or group or groupOfNames	This option will create a group Ldap Object, using the available group attributes from schema. If schema contains groupOfUniqueNames object it will create a groupOfUniqueNames object else the group object else groupOfNames object.
New Entry like Current Entry	Selected entry object classes	This option will create an entry with the selected entry object classes. If you want all the attribute values pre populated from the selected entry use the New Entry Wizard \| Use Existing Entry as template option.
New Entry From Scratch	Allow you to select the object classes for the new entry	This option will let you choose the objectClasses for the new entry.
New Person	top person	Create a LDAP Person Object
New Organizational Person	top person organizationalPerson	Creates a LDAP Organizational Person Object
New Address Book Entry	top person organizationalPerson inetOrgPerson	Creates a LDAP Internet Organizational Person Object
New Organization Object	top organization	Creates a LDAP Organization Object
New Organizational Unit Object	top organizationalUnit	Creates a Organizational Unit Object
New Unique Group	top groupOfUniqueNames	Create a LDAP Group of Unique Names Object
New AD Container	top container	Create an Active Directory Container Object
New AD Computer	top person organizationalPerson user computer	Create an Active Directory Computer Object

LDAP Admin tool also allows you to create multiple entries like the selected/new entry (Just select how many entries you want to create and it will create those entries for you) (If you are connected to active directory/ADAM menu options will be different)
